We recognise that for many students, the idea of studying law can feel intimidating or out of reach due to barriers such as limited exposure, misconceptions, or a lack of guidance.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between secondary education and the legal profession by equipping students with the knowledge, confidence, and support they need to pursue a future in law.
Our Mission
Our flagship program involves visiting schools across Victoria to deliver engaging, student-run workshops. These sessions introduce students to the diverse pathways into law, demystify the university experience, and break down common myths about what it means to study and work in the legal field. We aim to foster early interest in the law while making students feel seen, heard, and capable of belonging in legal spaces.
In addition to school visits, BridgeLaw also produces accessible educational content – such as social media campaigns and outreach material packs – to raise awareness about traditional and non-traditional legal pathways, different careers in law, and the varied journeys people take to get there.
Through peer-led mentorship, open conversations, and community engagement, BridgeLaw is creating a more equitable pipeline into legal education – one school, one student, and one conversation at a time.
