BridgeLaw’s Flagship Program
Our flagship initiative, BridgeLaw School Workshops are interactive, student-led sessions delivered at high schools across Victoria. Designed and run by Monash Law students, these workshops aim to break down barriers to legal education by providing relatable, accessible insights into studying and working in law.
What Are BridgeLaw School Workshops?
Each workshop is tailored to suit the needs of higher-secondary students and may include:
Demystifying Law School: What it’s really like to study law, from lectures to exams to student life.
Pathways Into Law: A breakdown of university entry pathways, including non-traditional routes and alternative options.
Law Careers 101: Exploring the wide range of careers you can pursue with a law degree—not just becoming a lawyer!
Mythbusting & Q&A: Honest, student-to-student conversations to challenge common myths and misconceptions.
What We Cover
For many students, law can seem like an exclusive or intimidating field. Our workshops aim to level the playing field by showing students that they belong in legal spaces – no matter their background. Representation and early exposure make a lasting difference.
